Were excited to officially announce our First Annual Muslim Culture Con Young Adult Retreat 2024, themed ‘Destined for Prosperity: Using Our Legacy to Cultivate a Garden of Excellence.

The 2024 Muslim Culture Con Retreat invites young adult Muslims to reflect on the legacy of African American Muslims in this country, and then ask ourselves how we are utilizing that legacy to work toward the joy - the paradise - that Allah (swt) promises to His servants? How are we using the tools our pioneers have left for us, especially when it comes to our Deen and community, to create and continue spaces for further cultivation and growth?

We’re Calling all Muslim young adults to join us for a weekend of spiritual rejuvenation, engaging workshops, and vibrant community-building activities.

What We Do
Muslim Culture Con has created dynamic spaces that foster a stronger community among African American Muslim young adults through connecting, engaging, learning, and culturally expressing who we are. We encourage these young adults to achieve the best they can, become God-conscious individuals, and take an active role in working for Islam in the community.
We stress the importance of knowing, understanding, and fulfilling our individual and collective obligations as Muslims.
Through initiatives like virtual check-ins, partnerships with established organizations, and Ramadan sessions, MCC has already made significant strides in nurturing community connections and providing leadership opportunities for young adult Muslims.
